Privacy Policy

RefundMyLead (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is an individually operated service available at refundmylead.com. We help Thumbtack professionals generate AI-powered dispute letters for bad leads. For any privacy-related questions, contact us at partners@refundmylead.com.

Account data: Your email address, used to create and manage your account.

Screenshots you upload: Images you submit for dispute analysis. Stored securely and used solely to generate your dispute letter.

Call recordings you upload: Audio files you submit for dispute analysis. They are sent to Deepgram for transcription, and the resulting transcript is stored alongside the dispute. Only upload a recording you have the legal right to share.

Payment information: Handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We store your Stripe Customer ID and subscription status.

Usage data: Number of disputes created, timestamps, and dispute outcomes you enter.

Analytics data: If you accept analytics cookies, we collect pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and how you interact with the pages. See section 6.

To provide the service: analyze your screenshots and generate dispute letters.

To manage your account and subscription.

To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset). We do not send marketing emails.

We retain your account data and dispute history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or request deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. To request deletion, email partners@refundmylead.com.

Essential cookies. Session cookies set by Supabase Auth keep you signed in, and a small local record stores your cookie choice. These are always active — the service cannot work without them — and they are not used for advertising.

Analytics and advertising cookies. Google Analytics 4, Meta Pixel, Reddit Pixel and Microsoft Clarity. They tell us which pages people visit, how they got there, and which advertising brought them. Clarity additionally replays the session — where you clicked, what you scrolled past, where you gave up — so we can fix what does not work. What you type is masked, and so are the generated dispute letters.

These load only after you accept them. Decline and they are never requested. You can change your mind at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer, which reopens the banner.

Counting visits without cookies. Vercel Web Analytics records that a page was viewed, from which country, and on what kind of device. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and keeps no identifier that could single you out or follow you to another site — so it runs whether or not you accept the cookies above. It is how we know how many people reached the site at all, since everyone who never answers the banner is invisible to the ones listed above.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting partners@refundmylead.com. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under GDPR, CCPA, or other applicable laws.

We implement industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure database access, and storage-level permissions. However, no system is 100% secure.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
