Terms of Service

By creating an account or using RefundMyLead (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by an individual doing business as RefundMyLead, reachable at partners@refundmylead.com.

RefundMyLead is a software-as-a-service tool that analyzes screenshots of Thumbtack leads submitted by the user and generates AI-powered dispute letters intended to be sent to Thumbtack support. The Service is designed to assist Thumbtack professionals in submitting refund requests for leads they believe are invalid.

RefundMyLead does not guarantee any refund outcome. The dispute letters generated are for informational and assistance purposes only. Whether Thumbtack approves or denies a dispute is solely at Thumbtack's discretion. We are not affiliated with Thumbtack, Inc. in any way. Refund probability scores are AI estimates and do not constitute legal or financial advice.

Accuracy: You are responsible for submitting accurate, unaltered screenshots. Submitting fabricated or manipulated screenshots is strictly prohibited.

Lawful use: You agree to use the Service only for legitimate dispute requests regarding real Thumbtack leads you received.

Account security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

Age: You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

Free plan: Includes 3 dispute letters at no cost. No credit card required.

Pro plan: $17 per month, billed monthly. Includes up to 100 dispute letters per billing period.

Billing: Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring monthly charges. Prices are in US dollars.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via “Manage Billing” in your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time.

Refunds: All payments are final and non-refundable, except where required by law or at our sole discretion.

The dispute letters generated by the Service are provided to you for personal use. You retain ownership of the screenshots you upload. We do not claim ownership over your uploaded content. The RefundMyLead platform, brand, and all original content are owned by the operator.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RefundMyLead and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost revenue, denied refunds, or data loss. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days prior to the event giving rise to the claim.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or produce any particular outcome with Thumbtack.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, submit fraudulent content, or misuse the Service. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, or if unresolved, through binding arbitration under the American Arbitration Association rules.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance.

RefundMyLead allows users to optionally upload audio recordings of phone calls with Thumbtack leads to improve the accuracy of dispute analysis. By uploading an audio recording, you represent and warrant that:

(a) the recording was made in compliance with all applicable federal and state laws, including wiretapping, eavesdropping, and privacy statutes;

(b) in jurisdictions requiring two-party or all-party consent, all parties to the recorded conversation consented to being recorded;

(c) you have the legal right to share the recording with a third-party service for analysis.

RefundMyLead is not responsible for any legal liability arising from your recording or uploading of audio files. Audio recordings are used solely for transcription and dispute analysis and are deleted from our servers within 30 days of upload.
